Green Iron Technology has developed innovative production methods for the continuous production of green Direct Reduction Iron (DRI) from iron ores, abating CO2 emissions from steel production, as well as energy efficient pre-reduction methods for various Ferroalloys, primarily FerroChromium and iron bearing wastes.

Our international patented protected technology offers distinct advantages to our partners. The company works closely with industry leaders across the supply chain in the mining and metals sector from iron and steel to stainless steel producers including industrial waste management companies, all with the purpose to deliver process solutions and overall cost and profit benefits. The GIT process has strong environmental-friendly credentials offering a transitional approach to fossil-fuel free iron-making from reducing the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions with our Smart Carbon technology right through to zero CO2 emissions with Hydrogen (H2) based iron-making.
